ON-CAMPUS ACCOMMODATIONS

Columbia Housing Services offers room packages in Carman Hall, a residence hall on the Morningside Campus, for guests during Commencement Week.

Commencement Housing applications will be accepted online on a first-come, first-served basis. The reservations can be made online and applications will be accepted in mid-February 2014. Parents who do not have internet access may have their graduating seniors apply for them in person at 114 Hartley Hall. Credit cards will be billed automatically upon application and confirmation. Requests will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis until all rooms are filled.

Rooms may be reserved for a 3 night package  from Monday, May 19, 2014 - Thursday, May 22, 2014. All rooms are double rooms (2 twin size beds sharing a bathroom) but two rooms may be combined as a suite (4 twin size beds with private bath).  A limit of two rooms (one suite) may be reserved per graduate. ALTERNATE ACCOMMODATIONS

In addition to on-campus accommodations, discounted rates may be available to Columbia University students and guests at some local hotels and hostels. We recommend that you make your reservations as soon as possible. Please note that if neighborhood hotels become booked, the city's many midtown hotels are only a short subway ride from the University. Please see below for a list of off-campus accommodations that may offer special rates for Columbia-affiliated guests.
