EVENT HOSTS

We are seeking Event Hosts for University Commencement, as well as for the Baccalaureate Service and various individual School Ceremonies over the course of the week. Event Hosts play a key role in providing guest service to the graduates, families and friends attending events on our campus. Event Hosts wear Commencement polo shirts (provided by the Commencement Office) so they are easily identifiable for assistance.

Please complete a Volunteer Form indicating that you would like to volunter as an Event Host or send an email to [email protected] if you are interested. The deadline to volunteer as an Event Host is April 4.

To volunteer as an event host for commencement related ceremonies at the Medical Center, please contact Natalie Ross at [email protected].

Please note only faculty and staff are eligible to volunteer.

MARSHALS

We are seeking Marshals for University Commencement and Baccalaureate Service. Marshals play an important role in the University Commencement ceremony and Baccalaureate Service, organizing and ushering both the academic procession and the degree candidate procession. They wear academic attire and participate directly in the program. Please complete a Volunteer Form indicating that you would like to volunteer as a Marshal or send an email to [email protected] if you are interested.

The deadline to volunteer as a Marshal is April 30.

Please note that no degree candidate may serve as a Marshal unless appointed as a Student Marshal by his or her school.
