PH.D.CONVOCATION

This ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of all Ph.D. candidates in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Class of 2014. Students' names are read as they process across the stage.

Date: Sunday May 18, 2014

Time: 3:30pm

Location: South Lawn, Morningside Campus

Speakers: Klaus Lackner, Ewing and J. Lamar Worzel Professor of Geophysics and Director of the Lenfest Center for Sustainable Energy

Reception: Immediately following the ceremony on Avery Plaza

Tickets: Not required

Caps and Gowns: Required

Diplomas: Diplomas for May graduates will be mailed to the address on file in the “Diploma Address” section of SSOL.

 

 

M.A. CONVOCATION

This ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of all M.A. candidates in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Class of 2014. Students' names are read as they process across the stage.

Speakers: Duncan J. Watts, principal researcher at Microsoft Research, founding member of the Microsoft Research-NYC lab, and former member of the Department of Sociology
