CLASS DAY
This ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of all Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degree candidates of the Class of 2014 in Columbia Engineering. Students’ names are read as they process across the stage and receive a class pin. Student life, academic, and alumni awards and prizes are conferred to students.
Date: Monday, May 19, 2014
Time: 5:00 p.m. Seating will begin at 4:00 p.m.
Location: South Lawn, Morningside Campus

Tickets: Not Required
Caps and Gowns: Required of participating graduates
Diplomas: Diploma distribution information will be available in the spring.

- Monday, April 21, 12:00–4:00 p.m., Low Rotunda
- Tuesday, April 22, 1:00–6:30 p.m., Lerner Hall, Party Space
- Wednesday, April 23, 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Lerner Hall, Room 401

Columbia Announces 2014 Honorary Degree Recipients.
Honorary Degrees are awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to research, publication, law, science, government, education and literature. Honorary degrees were first awarded by Columbia in 1758. Honorees do not need to be graduates of Columbia University.
The University Medal for Excellence is awarded each year to an alumnus or alumna, under 45 years of age, whose record in scholarship, public service, or professional life is outstanding.
