The Earth Institute and the School of Continuing Education MSSM Practicum present Innovative Sustainability Leadership: Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience in New York City with Susanne E. DesRoches, LEED AP, Assistant Chief, Resilience and Sustainability, The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey.

In this lecture, Susanne E. DesRoches will focus on how sustainability practitioners integrate climate risk in making capital investments in large-scale infrastructure. The lecture will focus on the resilience efforts underway in New York City; although the strategies identified for managing climate risk will be applicable to other locations, and to both public organizations and private firms.
