Jawad Nabulsi was one of the main figures in the January protests in Tahir Square that led to the downfall of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.  A founder of the Nebny Foundation, Nabulsi spent years doing grassroots community organizing in Upper Egypt and is now active in the slums of Cairo. In a discussion with IMAC director, Anya Schiffrin, Nabulsi will speak on his experiences during the uprising, reflect on the disappointments of the revolution and discuss how he and his colleagues plan to stay involved in Egypt in the future.
